Enable accessibility services on a multi-app kiosk

Overview

There might be situations where you want to allow accessibility services to run in a multi-app kiosk. If accessibility services are allowed, device users can enable accessibility features from the kiosk.

How to allow accessibility services in a multi-app kiosk

To allow accessibility services:

  1. On the Knox Manage console, go to Kiosk.
  2. Modify an existing multi-app kiosk, or create a new kiosk.
  3. Click Advanced Settings.
  4. Under Device Setting, select Accessibility, then click OK.
  5. Click Save and confirm the changes. The Update Kiosk Version dialog box opens.
  6. Enter a comment in the Update Kiosk Version dialogue, then click OK. The kiosk rebuilds.
  7. Click Apply and confirm the changes. The updated kiosk is pushed to any devices that it’s assigned to.

After applying the changes, the device user can control the accessibility features on the kiosk:

  1. On the kiosk, tap kiosk info.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Accessibility.
  4. Turn on or turn off any available accessibility features.
