How to establish a secure VPN connection (Ivanti Secure Access Client) using Knox Manage

This article explains how to establish a secure VPN to access data using Ivanti Secure Access Client (formerly Pulse Secure).

How do I enroll devices with the above requirements?

To configure Ivanti Secure Access Client for Knox Manage:

1. On your Knox Manage console, navigate to the Application page, then click Add. The Select Application Type dialog box opens.
2. On the Select Application Type dialog, select your device’s Platform. For Type & Source, select Public - Managed Google Play.
3. Click OK. The Managed Google Play store opens.
4. Search for Ivanti Secure Access Client (formerly Pulse Secure), then click the app in the search results.
5. Click Select. The Add Application page opens.
6. Fill in the app details, then click Save & Assign. The Save & Assign dialog opens.
7. Click OK. The Assign Application page opens.
8. Assign Ivanti Secure Access Client to the group or organization that requires the app, then click Assign. The Assign Application dialog opens.
9. Click OK.

You can then apply your configurations as required.

How do I establish a secure VPN connection (Ivanti Secure Access Client) using Knox Manage?

1. Create an Enterprise VPN profile with the Ivanti Secure Access Client app and the provided VPN credentials.
2. Install the Ivanti Secure Access Client app for configuring a VPN account.
3. Push the VPN profile with the provided VPN credentials.
4. Click on the notification of VPN configuration, then ensure that you agree on the Ivanti Secure Access Client app.
5. Once successfully configured, allowlisted network traffic and websites can use the VPN connection to access restricted data.
