Overview
When you try to use the double-press or long-press key function, you may encounter an issue where nothing happens when the configured key is double pressed or long pressed.
Cause
This issue occurs if you created or last edited the profile assigned to the device before the Knox Manage 25.11 release. Starting with the 26.06 release, the Key Remapping policy now requires you to configure the Waterlock Disable Option setting. As a result, the double-press and long-press key functions don’t work on devices that are assigned a profile where Waterlock Disable Option isn’t configured.
Resolution
To resolve this issue, configure the Key Remapping policy in your Knox Manage profile:
-
On your Knox Manage console, navigate to Profile.
-
Click on the profile name assigned to the affected devices, then click Modify Policy.
-
Navigate to Wear OS > System.
-
Set Key Remapping to Apply.
-
Configure the following Remapping List policies:
Policy Value Key and Press Type Select a Key and Press Type. Waterlock Disable Option Select to enable or disable the Waterlock feature. Package Name Select one or more apps to apply the key remapping configuration to. Application Type Select the type of app this configuration applies to.Home key - long press only
Long Press Duration (milliseconds) Determines how long you need to press the button for. Enter a duration in milliseconds.Home key - long press only
-
For each key remapping configuration you want to add, configure the required policies, then click +.
-
Click Save, then push the profile to your affected device fleet.
