Manage certificate templates

Last updated April 28th, 2026

The Certificate Authority (CA) server manages certificates through certificate templates. You can add as many templates as you need, and modify them to standardize and simplify the process of issuing certificates.

If you added certificate templates in the original console that have Purpose set to Wi-Fi, then you can manage them in the new console as well. See Manage certificate authorities for more information.
