Delete a profile and policies

If you no longer need a certain profile or policy preset, you can delete them.

Delete a profile

If the profile you want to delete is still assigned to an existing group, you must first unassign it.

To delete a profile:

1. Go to Profiles and policies.
2. Select one or more profiles to delete.
3. Click ACTIONS > Delete profile(s).
4. On the Delete profile dialog, click DELETE.

You can also:

1. Go to Profiles and policies.
2. Click the name of the profile you want to delete. The Profile details page opens.
3. Click DELETE PROFILE.
4. On the Delete profile dialog, click DELETE.

Delete a policy preset

Before you can delete a preset, you must unassign it from any profiles.

There are two ways to delete a preset. On the POLICIES tab from the Profiles and policies page:

• Click ACTIONS, then select Delete policies > DELETE.
• Click the name of the policy you want to delete. On the sliding panel that opens, click the icon. Then click Delete policy > DELETE.
