Environment

  • Knox Manage (original console)
  • Wear OS

Overview

When you attempt to add a Wear OS token for device enrollment in Knox Manage, you may encounter the following error message:

An error occurred. Please try again. [9999999]

Cause

This issue can occur due to the following reasons:

  • The Android Enterprise environment isn’t properly configured within your Knox Manage tenant.
  • The Google account for Android Enterprise registered in your Knox Manage tenant is blocked or restricted. This results in permission denial (403 Forbidden) when performing Android Enterprise-related operations, including Wear OS token creation.

Resolution

First, ensure that your Android Enterprise environment is properly configured within your Knox Manage tenant. If the environment isn’t properly set up, errors can occur during token creation. For more information on how to set up your account, see configure the Android Enterprise environment, and verify that the device enrollment methods and policies are properly configured.

If the issue persists, the error may be related to the Google account associated with your Knox Manage tenant. To resolve this issue, try the following:

  • Contact Google support to verify your account status. If the account is blocked or restricted, request for your account to be unblocked.
  • If you’re the super admin who created the tenant and you haven’t enrolled any devices in the console, you can replace your EMM provider information.

If you’re still experiencing issues, submit a support ticket.
