Overview
You can configure Exchange ActiveSync accounts for Samsung Email through Managed Google Play using Managed Configuration. This allows you to set up user and email information for the Samsung Email app.
How do I configure the Exchange Active sync account list for Samsung Email app in Knox Manage?
- On your Knox Manage console, navigate to the Application page, then click Add. The Select Application Type dialog box opens.
- On the Select Application Type dialog, select your device’s Platform. For Type & Source, select Public - Managed Google Play.
- Click OK. The Managed Google Play store opens.
- Search for Samsung Email, then click the app in the search results.
- Click Select. The Add Application page opens.
- Fill in the app details, then click Save & Assign. The Save & Assign dialog opens.
- Click OK. The Assign Application page opens.
- For Target Device, select Android Enterprise and configure the required Android Enterprise settings.
- Next to Managed Configuration, click Set Configuration. The Managed Configuration menu opens.
- Next to Exchange ActiveSync account list, click Configure.
- Enter the values you want to configure, such as Email address and User name. Since Managed Configuration uses a wildcard format, use
${ }symbols for their associated Lookup setting. For example:${Email}.
