This knowledge base article provides steps on how to install an internal app uploaded to Knox Manage on the personal side of fully managed devices with a work profile.

How do I install an internal app uploaded to Knox Manage on the personal side of a fully managed device?

To ensure your internal app’s properly installed on the personal side of your devices:

  1. On your Knox Manage console, navigate to the Application page, then click Add. The Select Application Type dialog box opens.
  2. On the Select Application Type dialog, select your device’s Platform. For Type & Source, select Internal - Knox Manage Portal.
  3. Click OK. The Add Application page opens.
  4. Next to Application File, upload your APK and fill out the required fields. After uploading the APK, don’t assign it to a group or organization.
  5. Go to the Device page.
  6. Select the checkbox next to the devices you want to install the app on, then click Device Command. The Device Command dialog box opens.
  7. In the Frequently menu, select Install or Update App.
  8. On the Select Application window, click your app’s Application Name. The Request Command dialog box opens.
  9. Click OK.

Your internal app is then installed in the personal space of all selected devices.
