How do I fix “signing failed” errors?

Overview

There are many common causes for “signing failed” error messages, including:

  • Using an undefined privilege
  • Broken files
  • Using an accessory protocol
  • Using an SDK default key. Doing so can result in a “signing failed” error message. A Samsung certificate registered to the Knox Configure portal must be used to sign the app. For more details, see Getting Certificates in the Galaxy Watch for Tizen documentation.
