These features are only available on Knox Service Plugin. Please refer to upcoming Knox Service Plugin releases for details about these features.

Auto Blocker Control

This release allows you to enable the Auto Blocker on company-owned Samsung devices, which blocks unauthorized apps, unauthorized USB access, potential malware images, and unofficial software updates. You can also prevent device users from modifying this setting, or completely hide it from the settings menu.

Configure Auto restart

You can control Auto restart on Samsung devices, which automatically restarts devices to keep them running in the best condition. You can set devices to Restart when needed, so devices will automatically restart when they detect performance issues. You can also set devices to Restart on schedule, so devices will restart at scheduled times outside of normal usage hours.

DeX taskbar zooming

You can control the DeX taskbar size through Knox Service Plugin, allowing managed devices to display a larger taskbar for easier touch interaction. The available size options are Basic, Large, and Extra Large.

Enhanced control over Galaxy AI

You can disable additional Galaxy AI features on managed devices to ensure that devices comply with your organization’s security policies.

API deprecation

As part of Samsung’s ongoing upkeep and service maintenance, we deprecate Knox APIs from time to time. We recommend that you discontinue the use of deprecated APIs before they are removed permanently.

The APIs deprecated in Knox 3.14 continue to work normally for Android 17. For more information, see the complete list of Deprecated API methods.

Technical support for deprecated APIs is available for up to one year after their deprecation. The APIs continue to be available in the second year after deprecation, but satisfactory operation is not guaranteed. Please see our FAQ for details about deprecated API support.
