Outgoing call control
Last updated October 8th, 2026
This document is new for the Knox cloud services 26.10 UAT.
To use this feature, you need a Knox Guard Advanced license.
The Outgoing call control device action allows you to restrict a device’s ability to make phone calls. Restrictions are enabled per device and function independently of the SIM control policy. As such, you can use this feature to apply call restrictions that aren’t tied to the device’s SIM.
When call controls are enabled, the device user can only call numbers added to the contact allowlist. You can allowlist up to ten phone numbers. Emergency calls are exempt from this restriction.
