An error occurred with setSealedHomeActivity: applicationPackageName in your profile

Environment

• Knox Configure (KC)
• ProKiosk mode

Overview

The device logs in your KC console specifies the error message:

Error 51010: An error occurred with setSealedHomeActivity: applicationPackageName in your profile. Check the configuration items in your profile and retry.

Cause

A Google Play app cannot be assigned as the ProKiosk home activity, as it cannot be installed before the home activity is launched.

Resolution

Set the KC ProKiosk home activity to one of the following:

• An APK file uploaded to KC and added to the ProKiosk profile
• A pre-installed device app
