Knox Mobile Enrollment 22.03 release notes

Last updated July 26th, 2023

Expansion of DualDAR compatibility

As of Knox Mobile Enrollment 22.03, DualDAR compatibility is expanded and supports Samsung Galaxy devices in fully managed mode, starting with the Samsung Galaxy S22. Enabling DualDAR secures KME enrollment data with two layers of encryption, even when the device is powered off or in an unauthenticated state.

For more information, refer to Android Enterprise profiles.

Changes to enrollment of company-owned devices with a work profile

Previously, when a company-owned device was enrolled with a work profile, the setup wizard allowed the device user to create a personal profile after enrollment.

With Knox Mobile Enrollment 22.03, the enrollment workflow is updated and skips the setup wizard by default. If your enterprise requires the setup wizard, you have the option to re-enable it in your KME profile. Note that personally-owned profile enrollment remains the same. To re-enable the setup wizard, uncheck the Enrollment screens option when filling out your Android Enterprise profile settings. Then, click Edit > Show setup wizard after enrollment on WP-C devices > Save.

Selecting enrollment screens to show during setup.

For more guidance, follow the steps outlined in Android Enterprise profiles.
