Overview

When you try to enable the Galaxy Store app on your managed devices through your EMM’s system app policy, you may encounter an issue where the Galaxy Store app icon isn’t visible on the device.

Cause

On managed devices running One UI 8.0 or earlier, or those updated to One UI 8.5 via firmware-over-the-air (FOTA) after EMM enrollment, the Galaxy Store app is disabled by default. You can enable it using your EMM’s system app policy.

However, if a device is already running One UI 8.5 or later when it enrolls in an EMM, the Galaxy Store app is hidden by default. Its visibility can no longer be managed through an EMM’s system app policy.

Resolution

To make the Galaxy Store app icon visible, you can set Knox Service Plugin’s Show Galaxy Store application policy to Show. For more information on where to find this policy, see Show the Galaxy Store app.
