- Account settings: Provides access to the Domain section, where you can add or delete your domains.
- Legal: Lists the agreements associated with your educational institution.
Domain management
A domain is your educational institution’s web or email address. Managing domains lets you verify institution ownership and control who can create accounts, ensuring only authorized members can join your Samsung Account for Education. If you’re an admin with the Super Admin role, you can verify, add, and delete domains in the console.
Add a domain
Your institution’s domain is automatically added based on the website URL you provide during the sign-up process. Additional domains can be added as follows:
- Navigate to Settings > Account settings > Domain.
- Click Add.
- Enter the Domain URL and click Next.
The new domain appears under Domain with a verification deadline. Click the Verify button to the right of the link to verify your domain.
Verify your domain
You have 14 days to verify a new domain. Unverified domains are automatically removed after this period.
To verify a domain:
- In Settings > Account settings > Domain, click the Verify link next to your domain.
- On the Verify your domain ID dialog, copy the unique, autogenerated TXT record displayed for your domain. The format will resemble
samsung-domain-verification={unique-token}. - Add this TXT record to your domain registrar’s DNS settings. A domain registrar is an internet company that manages your domain name.
- Return to the Samsung Account for Education console and click Verify.
- Wait for confirmation. The verification process may take a few minutes — once the domain is verified, a green check icon appears next to it.
Delete a domain
The default domain for your institution is reserved and cannot be deleted. To delete a non-default domain:
- Go to Settings > Account settings > Domain.
- Click the right arrow icon of the domain you want to delete.
- Click Delete domain.
- If the domain has users, select a transfer destination domain.
- Click Delete and transfer users.
The domain is deleted, and its users are transferred to the destination domain you selected.
Language settings
The default language for system emails and other communications is English. You can modify the default language if you are an admin with the Super Admin role. To change the default language for all communications:
- Navigate to Settings > Organization.
- Under Language, click Edit. The Change language dialog opens.
- Select your preferred language from the dropdown. Languages are listed in their native scripts.
- Click Confirm to save your change.
Legal agreements
You can view and download legal agreements, such as Terms and Conditions, between your educational institution and Samsung for easy reference and compliance. To access existing legal agreements:
- Navigate to Settings > Legal.
- Click an existing legal agreement.
- The agreement opens in a new browser tab.
- Click Download to save the document to your computer.
Where to go next
