How admins and location managers can reset passwords for users they manage

As an admin or location manager, you can initiate a password reset for the users you manage in your location:

  1. On the Samsung account for Business console, sign in with your account ID and password.

  2. On the Users page, search for the user with their name, account ID, domain, or email address.

  3. In the search results, click for the target user to open the dropdown menu, and click Reset password. The Reset password dialog displays.

  4. (Optional) Select Sign this user out of all devices to make the user sign in to their devices with their new password.

  5. Click Reset. A confirmation message appears, indicating that the reset email is sent to the email address associated with the account.

  6. On receiving the password reset email from Samsung, the user must perform the following steps to reset their password:

    1. Click Reset password in the email. The Verify your identity page opens.

If users don’t see an email from Samsung in their inbox within five minutes, they must check their spam or junk email folder.

    2. Click Send Code to receive a verification code on their email address. The button changes to Resend code and you can use it to generate another verification code, if required.
    3. Enter the verification code and click Verify. The Reset password page appears.
    4. Enter a new password, and click Confirm.

The user can now sign in using their new password. They will also receive an email confirming that their password has changed.
