Enroll users into select Knox cloud services
If your company uses Samsung account for Business, you can now adjust your Enrollment settings to enable the ability to enroll devices in Knox services during sign-in. This allows you to assign enrollment profiles to specific users and enroll fully managed devices that have completed set-up to Knox E-FOTA and Knox Asset Intelligence, simply by having the user sign in to their account on the device.
You can assign an enrollment profile to a user:
- At the end of the profile creation process, on the Users tab of the Assign page.
- On the common Users page of the Knox Admin Portal.
To learn more about users and how to manage users, see the Users (Labs) guide in the Knox Admin Portal documentation. For more information on managing enrollment profiles, see Create an enrollment profile and Modify profiles.
New inline errors for bulk actions
To help you troubleshoot bulk actions, new inline error messages are now available when uploading CSV files. If an error is detected when you select a CSV file, a detailed error description is returned right away.
This provides immediate feedback, helping you easily identify and resolve CSV file issues.
Updates
Changes to advanced settings when editing enrollment profiles
Starting with Knox Mobile Enrollment 26.10, you can no longer adjust Advanced settings when editing an enrollment profile for a device with an Profile assigned, Provisioned, or Provisioned (restricted) status. To enable or disable advanced settings on a device that already has an enrollment profile assigned, you must first unassign it.
