Last updated April 9th, 2025

Updates

Improvements to Enrollment screens section

The settings shown in the Enrollment screens section while creating a new profile are now updated.

  • For better user experience, the names of the following settings are changed as follows:

    Previous name New name
Show all Android Enterprise setup screens, including the screens that can be skipped in Android 12 and higher Show the Android Enterprise setup disclaimer screen before EMM enrollment
Show setup wizard after EMM enrollment. Not applicable for Android 15 and higher Show additional setup screens after EMM enrollment

There is no change to the functionality and operating system requirements. The supported OS version for each setting is shown in the tooltip.

  • The Show additional setup screens after EMM enrollment setting is now enabled by default. Disabling this setting hides Google Service setup screens.

Advanced profile settings also available on ALL DEVICES tab

Previously, Advanced profile settings were available only on the ADVANCED PROFILE ASSIGNED tab of the Devices page. In 25.04, advanced settings are now available on the ALL DEVICES tab as well, regardless of the profile type assigned to the device.

OS version now updates after a device is factory reset

Previously, when a device’s operating system was updated, the OS VERSION column on the Devices page continued to show the device’s previous OS version. Starting with this release, if a device is factory reset following an operating system update, the OS VERSION column also updates to show the latest OS version of the device.

Support Email and Support phone number are now optional

The Support email and Support phone number fields shown when you configure a Knox Mobile Enrollment profile are now optional. This information was previously required for configuring a profile.

Deprecations

Notice for removal of KDA enrollment support

Starting with the 25.09 release, you will no longer be able to use the Knox Deployment app with Knox Mobile Enrollment.
