Email notifications sent regardless of preferences

Overview

Some users encounter an issue where they continue to receive multiple email notifications from events, even after changing their email and notification preferences in the Knox MSP Portal to not receive any notifications.

For example, when uploading devices to a customer using the Knox MSP Portal, each MSP admin receives emails about:

  • Knox E-FOTA
  • Knox Configure
  • Knox Mobile Enrollment

Cause

Changing email and notification preferences in the Knox MSP Portal only configures notification parameters for the Knox MSP Portal itself. For Knox cloud services, notification preferences aren’t configurable for Knox MSP admins.

The Samsung Knox team is aware of the issue, and is working towards a fix.
