Knox Suite provides access to multiple Knox services for enrolling, managing, securing, monitoring, and supporting your enterprise devices. You access these services through the Knox Admin Portal, where you can manage your Knox Suite licenses, devices, and services from a centralized location.
After preparing your environment and identifying the Knox services and licenses your company needs, use this tutorial to set up your Samsung Knox account and get started with Knox cloud services in the Knox Admin Portal.
Complete the following steps to get started with Knox cloud services:
-
Create a Samsung Knox account — Create a Samsung account for Business, register your company, and create the Samsung Knox account you’ll use to access Knox services.
If you created a Samsung Knox account prior to the 25.11 release, you would have used a personal Samsung account to create the account. You can continue to sign in and access the Knox Admin Portal using your current personal Samsung account. You can also switch the sign-in method to Samsung account for Business.
-
Access Knox Admin Portal and complete registration — Sign in to the Knox Admin Portal, select Knox Suite, and complete the required setup, including your Knox Manage registration.
-
Check your licenses — Review the Knox Suite licenses available to your company. If needed, generate a free trial license or register a commercial license.
-
Add devices — Add devices using the methods supported by the Knox services you plan to use, such as reseller uploads, CSV files, or EMM sync, then register the devices to the applicable Knox services.
-
Set up your Knox services — Complete the required configuration for the Knox services you want to use. Depending on the service, this can include creating and assigning profiles, campaigns, policies, licenses, or other service-specific settings.
-
Enroll your devices — Enroll devices using the enrollment methods supported by each Knox service. Depending on the service, enrollment can use the out-of-box experience, QR codes, tokens, URLs, manual agent installation, or other supported methods.
After completing these steps, your company’s Knox account is ready for you to manage your enrolled devices and use the Knox services available with your license.
