Knox Authentication Manager v1.3 release notes
Last updated September 26th, 2023
Knox Authentication Manager v1.3 introduces the following new features:
Microsoft Intune support
Previously, Knox Authentication Manager supported only three UEMs:
- VMware Workspace ONE
- SOTI MobiControl
- Samsung Knox Manage
Starting with v1.3, Knox Authentication Manager supports Microsoft Intune as well. Intune users can now authenticate with the Microsoft Managed Homescreen if it’s set as the main sign-in method.
Landscape support for Tab S8+
This release adds the ability for Tab S8+ users to use Knox Authentication Manager when their devices are in landscape mode.
This release adds a feature called Debug mode, which enables users to send bug reports from their devices to the Knox Authentication Manager team. When enabled by admins, users can tap a floating button to open the Debug mode menu to send a bug report from any screen on their device.
Users can turn this feature off in the Knox Authentication Manager menu.
Previously, users could submit in-app feedback through messages from the Give feedback screen to the Knox Authentication Manager team.
The Give feedback screen now allows users to select a bug to report, suggest a feature request, or send a customized report.
