Knox SDK Early Access Test
Last updated July 15th, 2024
Welcome to the Early Access Test
Congratulations on being one of the few strategic partners who will get an early glimpse of our new Samsung Knox 3.11 framework on Android 15 (V) OS.
During our Early Access Test (EAT), you’ll be able to test your existing apps and back-end infrastructure to ensure they interoperate smoothly with the new OS Knox framework.
To provide our collective customers with the best user experience, we must do as much testing and bug fixing as possible during this EAT period, as we’re able to provide firmware fixes more quickly. Unfortunately, after the OS and device release to the general public, bug fixes will undergo a different process and become far less frequent. So, it’s highly required for your timely testing planning and active participation to prevent this situation.
Before you begin
You must do the following before you can participate in the EAT:
- Sign the Samsung NDA for this EAT.
- Submit your test plan and sign-off criteria.
Timeline
Here is the estimated EAT timeline, which is subject to change depending on device readiness:
-
7/29 - 9/6: Android 15 (V) OS Early Access Test
- Complete sanity, critical, and full test scope
-
9/6: Early Access Test ends
- Sign-off on the Knox release
- Distribute updated apps
-
9/25: Early Access Test Partners’ Survey
