This section provides an overview of Secure Folder.

Overview

Secure Folder is a personal secure space that allows users to securely separate their apps and data. Apps and data inside Secure Folder are sandboxed separately on the device and gain an additional layer of security and privacy.

Benefits

Secure Folder:

• Helps with privacy by separating sensitive data and normal data. Sensitive data is not accessible outside of Secure Folder.

• Provides the ability to manage two separate app accounts on the same device, without needing to log in and out of them repeatedly. For example, you can be logged into two different social media profiles on the same device, one inside Secure Folder and one outside Secure Folder.

The image below shows the default apps that come with Secure Folder, highlighted in red. The Google Photos app has been added into Secure Folder.
