Enable Galaxy Store on managed devices

This release of Knox Platform for Enterprise allows you to enable Galaxy Store on managed corporate devices using Knox Service Plugin. The Galaxy Store is disabled by default on newly enrolled devices running Knox 3.13, but if the Galaxy Store was installed prior to the update, it continues to be accessible to device users.

Additional control over Galaxy AI features

With Knox 3.13, you can use Knox Service Plugin to manage Galaxy AI features on the Wallpaper and Audio Eraser apps, along with any other newly introduced apps. Using Knox Service Plugin, you can disable the use of these AI features, and grey-out feature menus to prevent your device users from modifying them.

Please refer to upcoming Knox Service Plugin releases for details about these features.

API deprecation

As part of ongoing upkeep and maintenance of Knox services, we deprecate Knox APIs from time to time. We recommend that you replace newly deprecated APIs before they are removed permanently.

The APIs deprecated in Knox 3.13 continue to work normally for Android 16. For the complete list of deprecations, see Deprecated API methods in Knox developer documentation.

Technical support for deprecated APIs is provided for up to one year after deprecation. While these APIs remain available during the second year after their deprecation, satisfactory operation is not guaranteed. For more details on deprecated API support, refer to our FAQ.
