Sub-admin unable to access Knox Cloud API

Environment

• Knox Cloud API
• Super admin access

Overview

When attempting to access the Knox Cloud API, sub-admins may instead encounter the following error message:

You are not authorized to see this page

Cause

After requesting access to the Knox Cloud API, only the super admin receives access by default. Sub-admins must be granted permissions to access the Knox Cloud API by the super admin.

Resolution

To grant Knox Cloud API permissions to a sub-admin:

1. On the Knox Admin Portal, click Administrators and Roles.
2. Click ROLES.
3. Modify the existing sub-admin role or create a new role.
4. Select Access Knox Cloud APIs portal.
5. Click SAVE.
