Create new Knox accounts using Samsung account for Business

Previously, personal Samsung accounts were used to create Samsung Knox accounts. Starting with 25.11, when you create a new Knox account on samsungknox.com, the workflow guides you to use Samsung account for Business, an identity and access management (IAM) platform designed for enterprises.

With your new Knox account linked to Samsung account for Business, you can:

• Oversee end-to-end lifecycle of your account, including adding and managing admins, company domains, and authentication methods.

• Simplify sign in and authentication of users accessing Knox cloud services by linking your company’s identity provider with Samsung account for Business.

• With the new Company account settings permissions, view and manage company and user information synchronized between the Samsung account for Business console and the Knox Admin Portal.

• Invited admins are now guided to the new workflow when activating their accounts.

If you already have a Knox account linked to a personal Samsung account, there is no change to your sign-in flow. Any admins you invite are guided to the existing activation workflow.

Centralized device approvals across services

With this release, a new UPLOADS tab is added to the Devices page that provides a comprehensive view of devices uploaded from all sources, including device resellers. Additionally, you can approve all devices from the same tab, eliminating the need to switch between different service consoles and streamlining your workflow.

• View pending and approved uploads in the UPLOADS tab, including upload details, such as source of upload, supported services, upload ID, date, and status.

• Click View for an approved upload to open the common device list that shows devices filtered by the upload ID. You can also view the supported services for each device.

• Approve pending device uploads with just a single click — click View for an upload to initiate a simplified approval workflow from the UPLOADS tab.

  

  Devices from the approved upload are shown on the common device list.

  • You need the new common permissions — Devices > Manage devices > Approve devices — to approve uploads.

  • You can view and approve uploads from Knox Mobile Enrollment, Knox E-FOTA, Knox Asset Intelligence, Knox Configure, and Samsung Care+ for Business.

• Download details of devices in a pending upload as a CSV file for offline use, such as validation against company data.

• On the Knox Admin Portal dashboard, view a single notification tile for all uploads available for approval.

Updates

Enhancements to bulk upload of devices

On the BULK ACTIONS tab, the capability to upload devices using CSV files is now also available for Knox E-FOTA, Knox Asset Intelligence, and Samsung Care+ for Business.

View Knox Configure licenses in Knox Admin Portal

When a reseller adds a Knox Configure license key in the Samsung Sales Portal on your behalf, it is automatically added and shown on the Licenses page in the Knox Admin Portal. This feature is supported for Knox Configure Setup, Dynamic, and Accessory licenses.
