Knox MSP Portal 24.09 release notes
Last updated September 12th, 2024
New
Ability to manage a customer’s admins and roles
Previously, MSP admins couldn’t make changes to a jointly-managed customer’s admins and roles. With the Knox MSP Portal 24.09 release, you can now create, edit, and delete your jointly-managed customers’ admins and roles directly from within the customer portals. To learn more about this new feature, see Manage customers.
Support to manage access to Knox Remote Support
Previously, all admins had full access to a customer’s Knox Remote Support service. Starting with With MSP 24.09, you can now grant or deny specific Knox Remote Support permissions — like the ability to manually start a remote session or capture screenshots — for other MSP admins. See Manage roles to learn more about these new options.
Updates
View customer portal in a new tab
Previously, only the Knox Guard and Knox Manage consoles would open in a new tab. All other services would open in the same tab as the Knox MSP Portal.
Starting with MSP 24.09, this feature is extended to other Knox services as well. When you open a customer’s Knox service, the customer’s Knox Admin Portal now opens in a new tab, allowing you to easily check, compare, and copy data between multiple customer portals at the same time.
