Knox MSP Program 24.06 release notes

Last updated June 26th, 2024

New

Managed customers who have super admin access can now trigger delink requests from the Knox Admin Portal. Once the managed customer’s super admin requests a delink, the MSP super admin receives a notification to accept or reject the request.

Default tab for Licenses page

MSP admins can now configure the Licenses page to either show the fully or jointly managed licenses tab by default. Previously, this page would always default to the fully managed tab. See Manage license to learn more.

New Knox Manage console

If you’re are managing a customer’s Knox Manage service, you now have access to the new Knox Manage console. You can switch between the new and original consoles in the Knox Manage section of the customer’s Knox Admin Portal settings. For an introduction to the new console, see About the new console.

Get started banner for new MSPs

To help new admins navigate the Knox MSP Portal, a new Get started banner appears on the Dashboard after signing in. This banner provides a quick tutorial on how to use the portal, as well as links to helpful articles, the FAQ, and knowledge base articles (KBAs).

Knox MSP Portal APIs

For MSPs who develop their own custom solutions, several new REST APIs were added to allow developers to add or delink customers, and edit customer information directly through their own solutions. See the MSP developer guide to learn more about these new APIs.
