Knox MSP Program 23.06 release notes
Last updated June 7th, 2023
CSV license table improvements
Customer IDs are now included in the CSV file when MSPs download a copy of the license table from the Knox MSP Portal.
For licenses associated with more than one customer, the customer IDs for that license are separated by commas in the CSV file.
Knox Mobile Enrollment profile copying across customers
With this release, MSPs can now copy Knox Mobile Enrollment profiles from fully managed customers to any fully or jointly managed customers through the Knox MSP Portal. If an MSP is managing similar profiles across their customers, this feature saves time and reduces the risk of errors associated with manually recreating profiles.
In addition, profiles can be assigned to multiple customers at a time or updated across the customer base with ease. Customer-specific profile edits can be made on the individual customer’s portal.
MSPs can track profile copying events through the activity log.
Knox Guard licenses in license table
With this release, MSPs can now view licenses for Knox Guard alongside their other Knox licenses in the Knox MSP Portal.
Note that Knox Guard licenses are view-only in the Knox MSP Portal. Use the Knox Guard console or Knox Admin Portal to register, edit, delete, and manage Knox Guard licenses.
Profile cloning UI improvements
With this release, the Origin profile column shows the original profile name for each profile that the MSP is cloning on the Customize profile names page.
A new Expected result column is also added. This field shows whether the cloning action will create a new profile, overwrite an existing target profile, or be cancelled because the target profile is unable to be overwritten.
Knox Remote Support access on customer’s behalf
When accessing a customer’s Knox Admin Portal, admins can now use Knox Remote Support to access and troubleshoot customer devices.
Knox Remote Support allows the MSP to remotely view the device screen and control the device from a PC. MSPs can transfer files between the device and the PC as well as capture or record the device screen.
