Delete devices

There are a variety of methods you can use to delete devices from the Reseller Portal, depending on the amount of devices or customers that you want to delete at once.

Delete one or more devices for a specific customer

To delete one or more devices from a customer’s device list:

  1. On the Reseller Portal, go to the Customers page.
  2. Under the COMPANY NAME/INTERNAL REFERENCE column, click a customer’s name. The customer details page opens.
  3. On the DEVICES tab, select the devices you want to delete.
  4. Click ACTIONS > Delete devices. The Delete devices dialog opens.
  5. Click DELETE.

Bulk delete devices for a specific customer using a CSV file

To delete a large number of devices from the Reseller Portal, you first need to prepare a CSV file that contains the IMEIs you want to delete. For details on how to properly format the CSV file, see Prepare a CSV file for a specific customer.

To delete one or more devices using a CSV file:

  1. On the Reseller Portal, go to the Customers pages.
  2. Under the COMPANY NAME/INTERNAL REFERENCE column, click a customer’s name. The customer details page opens.
  3. Click the DEVICES tab.
  4. Click ACTIONS > Delete devices via CSV. The Delete devices page opens.
  5. Click BROWSE and upload your CSV file.
  6. Click SUBMIT.

Delete all devices in a single upload

  1. On the Reseller Portal, go to the Customers page.

  2. Under the COMPANY NAME/INTERNAL REFERENCE column, click a customer’s name. The customer details page opens.

  3. On the UPLOADS tab, select an UPLOAD ID.

  4. Click ACTIONS > Delete device upload. The Delete device dialog opens.

  5. Click DELETE.

Bulk delete devices for multiple customers using a CSV file

To delete a large number of devices from the Knox Reseller Portal, you first need to prepare a CSV file that contains the customer IDs and IMEIs you want to delete. For details on how to properly format the CSV file, see Prepare a CSV file for multiple customers.

To delete devices in bulk for multiple customers:

  1. On the Reseller Portal, click BULK ACTIONS on the left navigation.
  2. Click DELETE DEVICES.
  3. Click BROWSE and upload your CSV file.
  4. Click SUBMIT.

When you delete a device on the Reseller Portal, the device is removed from the Reseller Portal, Knox MSP portal, and customer service portals.
