Enroll certificates with SCEP
With this release, you can use Simple Certificate Enrollment Protocol (SCEP) to enroll certificates to your managed devices. SCEP automates certificate enrollment on your managed devices, streamlining the process by reducing manual interaction.
Currently, SCEP is only supported on fully managed devices running Android 14 and higher, and only supports one certificate per profile.
To learn more, see Certificate provisioning configurations.
Updates
Configure Navigation type for the Navigation bar
Using the Navigation type display setting, you can now configure the navigation bar on your managed devices to be used with buttons or gestures. You can also hide or disable the Navigation type display setting so device users can’t see or modify it.
To learn more, see Deep settings customization.
Support to configure mobile hotspot toggle on devices
With Knox Service Plugin 24.06, you can configure the Mobile Hotspot toggle setting through Knox Service Plugin. You can also hide or disable this setting so that device users can’t see or modify it.
The Mobile Hotspot toggle setting can be configured as part of the Device and settings customization profile. For more information, see Mobile Hotspot toggle.
Support to configure mute with gestures on devices
With this release, you can now configure the Mute with gestures setting through Knox Service Plugin. If enabled, device users can mute incoming calls and alarms with gestures such as turning the phone face down, or putting their hand over the screen (only available on certain models). You can also hide or disable this setting so that device users can’t see or modify it.
The Mute with gestures setting can be configured as part of the Device and settings customization profile. For more information, see Mute with gestures toggle.
Support for dual-SIM policy on One UI 6.1
With this release, you can now use the Allow dual SIM operation policy to block or allow a secondary SIM on managed devices running One UI 6.1.
For more information, see Allow dual SIM operation.
Fixes
Fix for data roaming policy
Previously, the Turn on data roaming policy was removed from Knox Service Plugin because of unexpected behavior.
With Knox Service Plugin 24.06, you can now configure data roaming with the Turn on data roaming policy.
This policy is only supported on devices running at least Knox 3.10 on Android 14 and higher, with at least One UI 6.1.
