Couldn’t set up Separated Apps with trusted CA certificate

Environment

• Devices running Android 14 with One UI 6.1
• Separated Apps mode
• Knox Service Plugin
• Trusted CA certificate

Overview

On a device running Android 14 OS with One UI 6.1 that’s configured with a trusted CA certificate, you may encounter the following error with Separated Apps:

Couldn’t set up Separated Apps

Cause

If you’ve added a certificate to your list of trusted CA certificates using the Knox Service Plugin Certificate management > Add trusted CA certificate policy setting or the addTrustedCACertificateList API, the Separated Apps policy may not recognize the added certificate as trusted and fail to configure.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, you can remove the certificate from your trusted CA certificates in Knox Service Plugin or use the removeTrustedCACertificateList API.
