Overview
You may notice some issues while uploading or downloading attachments in the Samsung Email app. For example, uploaded files may incorrectly appear to be 0B in size.
Cause
There could be several causes:
- There is an unstable connection to the email server
- The email server is unstable and is unable to handle requests
- The email server is handling too many requests
- Sensitive Data Protection (SDP) can prevent messages from being sent, email contents from being shown, or attachments being downloaded properly
Resolution
If the issue is related to an unstable connection:
- Check the network connection, and swap between mobile data and Wi-Fi.
- Restart the device.
If the issue is related to SDP, you must lock and unlock the device to resolve the issue. Please try unlocking the device by providing a PIN or password. Biometric unlock methods, such as face or fingerprint scanning, may not work.
If the issue persists, submit a support ticket.
