Samsung Email displays a Contact cannot be found error when viewing Microsoft Exchange contact details

• Samsung Email v6.2.10.8

Overview

After updating to Samsung Email v6.2.10.8, when device users attempt to view contact details on Microsoft Exchange, they may encounter the following error message:

Contact cannot be found

When this issue occurs, device logs show:

E [ExchangeDirectoryProvider] : SQL injection attempt detected in query - blocking request

Resolution

To resolve the contact access issue, upgrade Samsung Email to v6.2.11.4 or higher.
