Notice of upcoming Microsoft Exchange Online ActiveSync device support restrictions

Overview

Starting March 1st, 2026, Microsoft Exchange Online will no longer support older ActiveSync connections. Only Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync version 16.1 or higher is supported.

To ensure continued email synchronization after this restriction takes effect, Samsung has released Samsung Email v6.2.10.8 in February 2026. This update includes support for Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync version 16.1, allowing devices to maintain seamless email connectivity with Microsoft Exchange Online.

Required actions

Samsung Email v6.2.10.8 has raised the minimum supported Android version to Android 10 OS. Ensure your devices update to this OS version or higher.
