Overview
When adding a Microsoft 365 account to Samsung Email, you might encounter an issue where authentication fails with the following 404 status:
The requested content does not exist.
Cause
If you are unable to update the app, a workaround is available. To resolve the issue, the device user must configure the Defaults field in the Samsung Email app settings:
- On the device, go to Settings.
- Tap Apps > Samsung Email.
- Tap Set as default.
- Enable Open supported links.
If the issue persists, the device user must open the website in Samsung Internet when adding the account:
- While on the 404 status page, tap the ellipses on the top right of the browser.
- Tap Open in Samsung Internet. The Samsung Internet browser opens.
- On the browser, tap the Samsung Email icon next to the URL to finish adding your account.
