Alert options for Samsung Calendar app aren’t available in a work profile

Environment

• Samsung Calendar
• Android Enterprise 14
• Work profile on company-owned device

Overview

When the Samsung Calendar app is installed in the work profile, you might notice that the following alert settings for that app aren’t available:

• Alert background
• Alert type

Cause

Starting from Android 14, the Alert background and Alert type settings for the Samsung Calendar app are no longer available when the app is installed in the work profile.

Workaround

The Alert type setting is available once again if you update the Samsung Calendar app to v12.5.02.3 or higher.

The Alert background setting isn’t available in the work profile, regardless of app version.
