Overview
When creating a personal Samsung account, you may encounter an error after entering your email address.
Common error messages
| Error message | Requirement |

| Email address contains banned word |
Your email address can't contain the following terms:

| Email address not valid | The length of the email address, including the domain, must be between 5 to 50 characters. |
| Using special characters, other than . - _ +, isn't allowed in your email address. | Your email address can only include the following special characters: period (.), dash (-), underscore (_), plus (+). |
| Account already exists | This email address is already associated with a Samsung account. If the existing account belongs to you, reset your Samsung account password. |
