Profile creation UX revamp

Knox Mobile Enrollment 24.10 introduces major enhancements to the profile creation workflow for a more seamless and intuitive user experience.

The improvements include combining both the Android Enterprise and Android Enterprise (Advanced) profile types into a single profile workflow, adding anchor functionality with a progress stepper for faster navigation between steps, and the ability to review and edit a profile before you create it.

With a combined Knox Mobile Enrollment profile, you can now choose whether or not to enable advanced settings—previously contained in Android Enterprise (Advanced) profiles—by activating the Advanced settings toggle switch during profile creation. Enabling these settings requires an active Knox Suite license.

Existing Knox Mobile Enrollment profiles will be migrated automatically without any further action needed.

For more information about the new profile creation workflow, see Standard profile settings.

Ability to install apps prior to EMM enrollment

To further decrease EMM enrollment time and facilitate staging, Knox Mobile Enrollment 24.10 includes the ability to install up to three local apps on the device prior to enrollment.

This feature is included in Knox Mobile Enrollment’s Advanced settings, which require an active Knox Suite license to use.

For detailed instructions on how to enable this feature in a profile, see Advanced profile settings.
