Microsoft Intune ending support for Android device administrator

Overview

Microsoft Intune is ending support for Android device administrator management on devices with access to Google Mobile Services on December 31, 2024.

How will this affect Knox Mobile Enrollment users?

Knox Mobile Enrollment users will no longer be able to enroll their devices with a Microsoft Intune device administrator profile. Customers using this profile type must ensure that no new devices are assigned to it, as the enrollment will fail.

Devices that are currently enrolled with a Microsoft Intune device administrator profile will remain unaffected until they are unenrolled or factory reset.
