Updates to device search from 23.09

Overview

Starting with Knox Mobile Enrollment 23.09, users will find that they can no longer query the following properties when searching the device list:

  • PROFILE
  • USER ID
  • MODEL
  • TAGS
  • ORDER NUMBER

The device list now only supports searching by the IMEI/MEID and serial number of a device. This change was made to improve the performance of the device search.

For the IMEI/MEID and serial number, partial strings are valid queries only if the substring matches the start of the identifier.

For example, if you’re filtering for a device with an IMEI of 123456789024687, then searching for 12345 would return it, but 8902 and 4687 wouldn’t.

The Samsung Knox Mobile Enrollment team is currently working to further improve the functionality of the device search.

Workaround

To perform advanced searches on a device list, download the device list and filter the CSV file.
