Last updated October 21st, 2024

Now that your devices are uploaded to the Knox Mobile Enrollment console, you’ll need to create a profile to define what EMM your device enrolls into, how the device enrolls into the EMM, and what the devices can do during and after enrollment.

This page provides a basic walk-through of creating a profile with standard settings. For more detailed instructions on how to configure optional fields and settings, see Standard profile settings.

To create a profile:

  1. Sign in to the Samsung Knox Admin Portal using your Samsung account credentials.

  2. Click Profiles from the left navigation pane of the Knox Mobile Enrollment console.

  3. On the Profiles page, click ACTIONS > Create profile.

  4. Enter a unique Profile Name to help differentiate your profile.

  5. Enter your Company Name which will be displayed on the device during enrollment.

  6. Enter a Support email users can contact in case they need assistance. This email will be displayed on the device during enrollment.

  7. Enter a Support phone number users can contact in case they need assistance. This phone number will be displayed on the device during enrollment.

  8. Click NEXT to enter your EMM information.

  9. Select the EMM solution you’ll be enrolling your devices into from the Pick your EMM drop-down menu. If you don’t see your EMM solution listed in the drop-down menu, select Other.

  10. The EMM agent APK field will be auto-populated when you select a supported EMM from the drop-down menu. If you selected Other, manually enter the EMM agent APK to allow the EMM application to be downloaded automatically during device enrollment.

  11. Click NEXT to configure device settings.

  12. Set up optional device enrollment settings, including DPC extras, QR code-based enrollment, and device lock. For detailed instructions on how to configure each setting, see Standard profile settings.

If you want your profile to include features like device lock, or have up to three apps installed during enrollment, enable the Advanced profile settings option at the bottom of the Create profile page.

  13. Click NEXT to continue to the review page.

  14. The final step is to review your profile to ensure all information is correct. Click EDIT beside any setting to be redirected to the appropriate page.

Once reviewed, click CREATE. Your newly created profile will be displayed in the Profiles table.
