Add devices

To begin using Knox Mobile Enrollment, the first thing you must do is add your device IMEIs to the console. The simplest way to do this is by getting your Samsung-approved reseller to upload the devices on your behalf.

If your devices aren’t purchased from a reseller, skip to the create a profile step.

Register a reseller

Before you can register your reseller:

• Reach out to your reseller to obtain their Reseller ID.
• Ensure your reseller has your Knox customer ID. When your Knox account is approved, you’ll automatically receive a customer ID which can be located on the Resellers page on the Knox Mobile Enrollment console.

Once you’ve exchanged the required information, you’re ready to register your reseller:

1. Sign in to the Knox Admin Portal.

2. Click Resellers on the navigation pane of the Knox Mobile Enrollment console.

3. Click REGISTER RESELLER.

4. Enter the reseller’s ID in the field provided. Then, click LOOK UP.

5. Confirm the reseller’s information is correct, then click REGISTER.

After registering your reseller, you’ll be prompted to set reseller preferences:

• By enabling auto-approval, you won’t need to manually approve any future device uploads from this reseller.
• Enabling auto-assignment will assign the selected profile to any device uploaded by this reseller.

Approve device uploads

To view the devices in the Knox Mobile Enrollment console, you’ll need to approve and accept your reseller’s upload.

To approve a device upload:

1. Click Devices on the navigation pane of the Knox Mobile Enrollment console.

2. Click the UPLOADS tab to view upload information, including your reseller’s name, the date they uploaded devices, and the approval status.

3. Locate your resellers upload, and click View in the corresponding DETAILS column.

4. Click APPROVE ALL UPLOADS.

You’ll see the device status change from Pending to Approved indicating the upload has been accepted.

Now that your devices are added to the console, the next step is to create a profile.
