Review device logs

This document is new for the Knox cloud services 25.11 UAT.
The Device logs page shows several tabs related to the history and activity of actions performed on devices in your fleet.
To view this page, admins need the Device Log permission. For more information, see Add an administrator.
Device actions log
The DEVICE ACTIONS tab displays logged entries for all device actions. You can search for a specific device log by date, action, device name, or admin.

To learn more details about a log event, click View details. The Log details page opens, showing additional details such as the severity level and process information.

Requested actions log
The REQUESTED ACTIONS tab displays all pending device actions. This allows you to view any requests that may have been unsuccessful so that you can request the action again. You can search for a specific log by date and device name.
Device diagnostics log
The DIAGNOSTICS tab displays device diagnostics. You can search for a specific log by date, device name, and user name.
To collect the diagnostics log for a given device:
- Navigate to the Devices page and select a device.
- From the ACTIONS drop-down menu, select Perform action on device.
- On the Perform action on device pop-up, Click DIAGNOSTICS > Collect device diagnostics log.
You can also view the DIAGNOSTICS tab by selecting a device from the Devices page, then clicking ACTIONS > View device log.
To download or learn more details about a log event, click View details. On the Log details page that opens, select a file, then click ACTIONS > Download Log File. A .txt file downloads to your device.
