Push a profile

When you edit a profile, you don’t have to push it to its assigned devices or groups right away. Also, sometimes a device user modifies a setting or an app on the device, and you want to undo those changes through the profile. In these cases, you can push the profile to the devices again, which re-applies the profile settings.

To re-sync or update a profile, you need to send the Push profile action to the affected devices.

Push a profile to a group

To push a profile to its assigned group:

1. Go to Profiles.

2. Select the profile you want to push.

3. Click ACTIONS > Push profile. The Push profile(s) dialog opens.

4. Confirm the action to send it.

Sync all profiles assigned to a device

To push all profiles assigned to one or more devices:

1. Go to Devices.

2. Select the devices you want to push their assigned profiles to.

3. Click ACTIONS > Push profile. The Push profile dialog opens.

4. Confirm the action to send it.
