Manage a User

You can continue to edit users after you’ve created a user. To create a new user, see Create a user.

Edit a user

You can edit a user to modify their status, name, email, user group, and more.

To edit a user:

  1. On the Users page, select the user you want to edit.
  2. Click ACTIONS > Edit user. The Edit user page opens.
  3. Edit details as required.
  4. Click SAVE. Your edits to the user are reflected on the user list.

Manage sync settings for a directory type user

You can view and manage the sync status and settings of a directory type user as follows:

  1. On the Users page, click the name of the directory type user you want to view or manage. The sliding panel displays.
  2. You can view the sync status to the right of the Sync heading. To manage the directory type user’s sync status, click the icon.

  1. Click one of the following:
    • Sync users — Immediately syncs between Knox Manage and your connected directory.
    • Enable sync — Adds the selected user to the list of sync targets, including them in future sync processes.
    • Disable sync — Removes the selected user from the list of sync targets, excluding them from future sync processes.
