How to enable No Battery Mode

Environment

• Knox Manage activated with either of the following:

  • Knox Suite license
  • Knox Manage license with Knox Platform for Enterprise premium license

• EMMs

• Galaxy Tab Active 3 devices and higher

• Galaxy XCover 7 devices

Overview

No Battery Mode is a feature that’s available on the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 devices and higher, and on Samsung Galaxy XCover 7 devices.

How to enable No Battery Mode?

To enable No Battery Mode:

1. In the Knox Manage console, click Profile.

2. Select your profile and click Modify Policy.

3. In the Samsung Knox policy drawer click Knox Service Plugin.

4. Modify the following policies:

   Policy	Value
   Device-wide policies > Enable device policy controls	True
   Device-wide policies > Device Settings (Premium) > Enable device settings controls	True
   Device-wide policies > Device Settings (Premium) > Enable No Battery Mode	True

5. Click Save & Assign.

6. Click OK to confirm your changes.
