How to use Knox Browser in kiosk mode

Overview

There might be instances where the Knox Browser is required in a kiosk.

How to use Knox Browser in kiosk mode

First, add the Knox Browser package to your list of control apps:

1. On the Knox Manage console, go to Profile > Manage System App.
2. Click Add.
3. For Package Name, enter com.sds.emm.kmsecurebrowser.
4. For Application Name, enter Knox Browser.

Next, add the Knox Browser icon in your kiosk:

1. Go to Kiosk on the navigation pane.
2. Select your kiosk, then click Modify.
3. Under Component, select System.
4. Click and drag Knox Browser to the kiosk preview.
5. Click Save > OK.

Finally, activate Knox Browser in your Android Enterprise profile:

1. Go to Profile on the navigation pane.

2. Create a new profile or modify an existing profile.

3. Go to Android Enterprise > Knox Browser policy group and set the following policy for Device Controls:

   Policy	Value
   Knox Browser App	Use

4. Click Save & Assign to save your changes and assign the profile to your device group.
