| Knox Manage agent | An app installed on the remote devices managed using the Knox Manage solution. |
| Knox Manage Cloud Connector | A service used to create a secure channel for sharing data between the Knox Manage cloud server and your enterprise system. |
| Certificate Authority (CA) | An independent organization that generates digital certificates to authenticate services, such as Wi-Fi, VPN, Exchange, and APN. |
| Active Directory | A Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) Windows network service that provides authorized access to an enterprise’s directory data, such as user names, passwords, and contact details. |
