Firmware auto-download over Wi-Fi

This document is new for the Knox cloud services 25.11 UAT.

To keep your Knox Guard enrolled devices updated with the latest firmware, you can use the Firmware auto download over Wi-Fi policy to force devices to automatically download the latest firmware version when they connect to Wi-Fi.

If enabled, device users won’t be able to turn off automatic firmware downloads.

To set your default firmware auto download settings:

  1. Navigate to the Policies page.

  2. Under ADVANCED CONTROL, click FIRMWARE AUTO DOWNLOAD OVER WI-FI.

  3. Enable or disable automatic firmware download.

    Apply firmware auto download over Wi-Fi settings.

  4. Click SAVE.
